This policy explains what personal data Neruva Works collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
Neruva Works is the data controller for the personal data you enter into your account. Contact: hello@neruvaworks.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (hashed).
- Business details: business name, KvK number, VAT ID, address, IBAN.
- Bookkeeping data: invoices, receipts, bank transactions, hours, assets.
- Uploaded files: PDFs and images of receipts and invoices you upload.
- Technical logs needed to keep the service secure and running.
Why we collect it
To provide the Service: display your data, generate invoices and tax summaries, keep your account secure, and let you export your data. Some data is retained to comply with our own legal obligations.
Legal basis
Contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligation (bookkeeping and tax retention).
Where your data lives
Data is hosted on infrastructure located in the European Union, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service, including our EU database host and email delivery provider. A current list is available on request from hello@neruvaworks.com.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain bookkeeping data for the periods required by Dutch tax law (7 years for most records; 10 years for immovable property), then delete it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from Settings, or by emailing us. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in the Netherlands, that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We only use cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See our cookie notice.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes in-app or by email.
