Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of Neruva Works (the "Service"), operated by the Neruva Works team ("we", "us", "our").

1. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may cancel your account at any time from Settings; your data can be exported before cancellation.

2. Service description

Neruva Works is a bookkeeping and invoicing tool. It calculates totals, generates invoice PDFs and prepares figures for your VAT and income tax returns based on the data you enter. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not file returns on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing all figures before submission to any tax authority.

3. Trial and payment

New accounts include a 30-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription. Prices are shown in the Pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

3a. Beta phase

Neruva Works is currently in beta. During this phase the Service is provided free of charge to invited users for testing and feedback purposes. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and occasional bugs or downtime are expected. Beta access can be ended at any time; you will be able to export your data first. Nothing in the beta creates an engagement for accounting, tax or advisory services, and no such services are provided. Please keep your own copies of source documents and verify every figure before submitting it to any tax authority. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta Service is provided "as is" with no warranty, and our liability during the beta phase is excluded except for damage caused by intent or gross negligence.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter. We store and process it to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details. You can export a full copy of your data at any time from Settings, including for the 7-year Dutch bookkeeping retention requirement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break any law, to attempt to access other users' data, or to overload or reverse-engineer the Service.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance and update the Service at any time.

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for figures you submit to tax authorities without independent verification. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
